2021 Australian Inclusive Schooling Conference – Virtual Attendance

The Illume Learning Australian Inclusive Schooling Conference is an unmissable opportunity for those with an interest in and passion for inclusive education. The conference will showcase current research, innovative approaches and strategies to include and engage students with disabilities.

Illume Learning is thrilled to offer virtual attendance at the 2021 Australian Inclusive Schooling Conference.

As we’re sure you are no doubt very aware, the current covid situation with lockdowns, border closures, and other government directives, is constantly evolving. As a result, we have made the decision not to proceed with the in-person event in Sydney on the 29^th & 30^th July, instead rolling the event over to a fully virtual format. It is impossible to predict what the situation will be like at the end of the month, and we are making the best decision we can with the information at hand. The health and safety of all involved (including attendees, speakers, exhibitors, staff and organisers from all across Australia and New Zealand) is our number one priority.

We’re well-versed in changing plans, having experienced a number of significant disruptions in 2020 so had planned for all possibilities. We wanted to be ready for anything and, with that in mind, introduced the hybrid conference model for 2021. This means that we’re super prepared for the switch to a full virtual event – we have been working on the virtual platform for a number of months now and are so excited about the experience we are going to be able to provide to you.

Your virtual conference registration includes:

• Live, virtual access to the conference on the 29^th & 30^th July 2021. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with presenters and other attendees via our dedicated conference platform.
• On-demand access to all of the conference sessions until 5pm 31^st August 2021. This way you get to see it all!
• Access to conference resource downloads including presentation slides, handouts and more.
• A very special Illume Learning conference box delivered to your door by courier. Think of this as your conference bag and catering all in one. Your conference box will include a variety of sensory and fidget resources (for you or your students!), event information, stationery, gourmet snacks and more.
